We’re Changing it Up!
While we’ve loved bringing you issues on women’s general health in the past, we’ve decided to make a change, and take a deeper dive into the issues so many women face around heavy menstrual periods, fibroids, uterine polyps, and other disruptive gynecological problems. Embarrassing to talk about? Not here. Here is where we hope you’ll be able to find help, get useful and meaningful information, explore what works and what doesn’t. Nothing can replace talking with your doctor, but we hope by examining the issues that arise when you have heavy bleeding, that you’ll learn something here that will also help you. We invite you to ask us questions, and we hope, that you might feel inspired enough to share your story.
As with any health issue, the first step should always be to talk with your doctor. Knowledge is power. The more you know, the easier it is to find the solutions that are right for you. We hope this blog will be a place for you to learn as much as you can about some of the gynecological concerns that can prevent you from not only living your everyday life, but also doing the things you love to do. From women’s own experiences, to doctors recommendations, and men’s perspectives, we want to shed light on women’s health issues that aren’t always easy to talk about.
We’ll be covering everything from the way women cope with heavy bleeding, fibroids, and other reproductive issues, to the latest technological advancements. We’ll help educate you on your options. We’ll help you understand our product NovaSure endometrial ablation system, and how this one-time five minute procedure can lighten, and even end heavy periods for women who are done having children. We’ll also give you the scoop on our other product, the MyoSure tissue removal system that can treat fibroids, polyps, and other uterine issues quickly and easily, while protecting your ability to have children. We hope to start conversations, so that you can feel less alone, and can share not only your thoughts, but your fears. Talking to your doctor is essential in getting the right help for your body, but talking to other women who have similar issues, can make you feel better, too. Women helping women is about as empowering as it gets.
So, welcome to the new and improved Change the Cycle site. We hope you’ll be part of our community. Feel free to let us know what you’d like to see here. We’ll do our best to give you the answers and information you really want to know, but can’t find. We’re not afraid to ask the big questions. We hope you aren’t either.
